What we were asked to solve

The outdoor space was no longer working hard enough for day-to-day use. Tired surfaces and cluttered ground made the garden feel unfinished, while the lawn and edges needed a proper reset rather than another quick tidy. The client wanted a clear, durable patio area, defined soft landscaping and a scheme that looked organised from the house and along the boundaries. Site clearance was needed first so new paving, walls, gravel and lawn areas could be set out cleanly without fighting old levels and leftover materials.

How we delivered it

We started with full site clearance and preparation so the new layout sat on a sound base. Natural stone paving was laid to form a practical patio and path surface, with falls considered so water could run off the hardstanding as intended. Garden walls were built to give structure and cleaner edges to beds and boundaries. Gravel was installed to finish selected ground areas neatly, and we completed the soft landscaping with a new lawn plus artificial grass where a low-maintenance green finish was required. Workmanship stayed practical and tidy throughout so the finished garden read as one joined-up scheme.
