Full rear garden landscaping in Annes with Indian sandstone paving, a new turf lawn, white marble gravel paths and discrete borders.
Indian sandstone patio, new turf & white gravel
The starting point in Lytham Saint Annes compared with the finished result.

The rear garden needed more than a light tidy. Tired planting, clutter and overgrown green areas had left the space awkward to use, with surfaces that no longer suited everyday sitting out or a reliable lawn. The client wanted a clean, practical patio, better-defined edges and a lawn that would work again after proper clearance and ground preparation. Getting the site ready meant green clearance and stump removal before any new hard or soft landscaping could go in.
We cleared the rear garden, removed unwanted growth and prepared the ground with hardcore and topsoil where needed. Indian sandstone paving was laid across the main patio areas, existing paving was relaid to suit the new layout, and a recessed manhole cover was set flush into the finished surface. Garden walls were built on a concrete base in standard brick. White marble gravel paths and edges were installed with discrete border edging to separate lawn, gravel and planting, and a new turf lawn was laid to complete the soft landscaping.
The rear garden is now a usable outdoor space with solid paving for wet weather, a fresh lawn for everyday living and crisp gravel edges that keep the scheme tidy. Junctions are cleaner, runoff is better controlled at hard surfaces, and the whole garden presents as one finished, low-fuss layout.
