Acorn Landscape Gardening is a family-owned company based in Walton-le-Dale. We specialise in high-quality, design-led garden landscaping, resin bound driveways and specialist garden drainage work.
Founded in 2019 by brothers Ian and David Wylie after years working as landscapers — Ian full time, David part time. Their skills lined up well, and they shared a simple conviction: they could deliver a better standard of work than much of what they had seen in the trade. That belief still drives everything we do.
We believe a great garden should be beautiful, practical and built to last. That's why we invest time in proper design, careful preparation and the best materials — whether we're creating a full family garden, installing a premium resin driveway, or solving persistent drainage problems. Alongside that craft, we care about modern methods in landscaping, business and technology — so the company stays efficient, transparent and well suited to how customers expect to work today.
Today we are a team of eight. Ian leads the landscaping on site. He brings engineering qualifications and extensive experience in landscaping and general building. David runs the office side — systems, business improvements and day-to-day management — drawing on a military background, time running another small business, and an MSc in International Business.
