We replaced a tired patio with Rock Beige porcelain and reclad the boundaries with brown treated slatted fencing for a client in Preston.
Porcelain patio & slatted fence cladding
The starting point in Preston compared with the finished result.

The existing patio was worn, stained and past its best, so it did little for day-to-day use or the look of the garden. The client wanted a cleaner, more usable outdoor surface that felt part of a proper scheme, not a patch repair. Boundary fencing also needed bringing up to standard so the garden felt enclosed and finished. The brief was a practical upgrade: better paving underfoot, a neater edge to the space, and cladding that would lift the whole rear garden without overcomplicating the layout.
We took up the old surface and laid a new porcelain patio in Rock Beige on a proper base, including the patio and step package so levels worked cleanly with the house and garden. Unsuitable posts were removed and replaced with new concrete and wooden posts where needed, then we fixed 6ft brown treated slatted cladding with privacy mesh backing to give a consistent, solid boundary. Work focused on a durable paving finish and tidy cladding lines so the patio and fences read as one job rather than separate add-ons.
The client now has a light, low-maintenance porcelain patio that is straightforward to live with, framed by smart slatted cladding. The rear garden feels larger, cleaner and ready for everyday use and seating, with a much stronger finish from the house out to the boundary.
