Full garden landscaping in Preston with light grey porcelain paving, lighting, close board fencing, gravel and lawn area. Practical hard and soft landscaping built for everyday use.
Porcelain paving, French drain & close board fencing
The garden was no longer practical for day-to-day use. Surface water sat after rain, the lawn looked tired, and the hard surfaces and boundaries needed a full rethink rather than a quick tidy. The client wanted a cleaner route from the house, reliable drainage so water did not pool on the paving, and a smart, low-fuss finish that would lift kerb appeal without constant upkeep.
We reworked the garden as a single scheme. Old fencing posts and panels were removed and disposed of, then we installed close board fencing and gates for a solid boundary. Light grey porcelain paving formed the main hard surface, with slate and white marble gravel used for soft edges and path zones. Walls were built and finished with toppers and stacked stone cladding, wired lights and planting was added, and we laid turf and artificial grass so the lawn areas stay neat and usable.
The garden is now a practical, well-drained space with clear porcelain paving, defined lawn and gravel areas, and a tidy boundary. Surface water is controlled, the finish is easier to live with day to day, and the property presents a sharper face to the street.
