What we were asked to solve

The garden was hard to use day to day. Soft, uneven ground limited seating and access, especially in wet weather, and there was no reliable hard surface. The client wanted a clean, level patio, a proper lawn they could maintain, and clearer edges so the space felt finished rather than makeshift. Levels needed attention so paving and turf could sit true, with room left for a shed base and tidy borders.

How we delivered it

We cleared and prepared the soft ground, adjusting levels so the new surfaces would sit as true as practical. Porcelain paving went down on a solid base with neat pointing to form a hard-wearing patio. Kerb edging and stone borders defined the lawn and paved areas, finished with golden gravel, gravel boards and a discrete border. We also formed a concrete shed base and laid premium turf on prepared topsoil, ready to establish with regular watering.
