What we were asked to solve

The rear garden needed more than a tidy-up. Boundaries were tired, hard surfaces no longer suited how the client wanted to use the space, and the lawn lacked clear structure. They wanted a practical outdoor room: a solid decking and patio zone for seating and everyday living, smarter fencing for privacy, and neat borders that would frame a proper lawn. The brief was to make the whole rear garden usable, well defined and low fuss — not a collection of half-finished areas.

How we delivered it

We worked solely on the rear garden. Old fence panels, gates and posts were removed and disposed of, then we installed new slatted fencing and continuous overlap fencing for a clean boundary line. Composite decking formed a raised outdoor living platform, completed with a pergola over the main seating area. Light Grey porcelain paving tied in the hard surfaces. Wooden sleeper borders were built and filled with white marble gravel, topsoil was placed where needed, and a new turf lawn finished the soft landscaping so edges and grass read as one scheme.
