What we were asked to solve

The driveway area at this Preston property was tired and awkward to use day to day. Surfaces and boundaries needed a proper rebuild rather than a light tidy-up, with green clutter and worn ground getting in the way of a clean outdoor space. The client wanted a durable natural stone surface through the driveway zone, a proper lawn for everyday use, and solid fencing with a close board gate to define and secure the boundary. Clearance work plus simple gravel edges would keep the scheme practical and low fuss.

How we delivered it

We cleared the driveway zone, removed old fencing panels and gates, and prepared the ground with topsoil where the new lawn would sit. Indian sandstone paving was laid on a proper base and resin pointed to form a durable natural stone surface. Close board fencing and a sturdy close board gate were fitted to the boundary, with treated gravel boards creating neat raised bed edges. Limestone and slate gravel finished the borders over membrane, and premium turf completed a fresh lawn. Setting-out kept the paving, lawn edge and fence lines clean and easy to live with.
